Slow Days with Scout

these days have been filled with slow walks in between filling the shelves for winter markets and holiday gift giving. I can’t lie, while its idyllic to have all this time to throw, I haven’t been able to do many travel photoshoots that support my pottery when sales are slow. Scouts recovery is going good, slow and steady and he will be right as rain in a few months. As a freelance artist I have little wiggle room to pay for unexpected things, and I am so grateful to everyone’s support buying pottery to support his rehab costs.

I have set up a little fenced area to keep him contained just outside my greenhouse while I throw.

Maybe this time will allow me to shift to full time pottery! sometimes it takes a kick in the pants and some clay hustle to move things forward.

in the meantime, hands in the clay in between home exercises and slow walks.

Love from me and Scout.
