Wild Clay

exploration on wild clay. i am lucky to have clay on our land. over the next few months I will be working on creating a series of wild clay pieces to share this winter. Wild clay is all about testing and letting go. Letting the clay speak to you and getting to know what its all about. as a photographer as well, when I sit with a subject I have a period while starting to photograph them where its about finding their angles, feeling their energy, exploring their contours and gestures. Clay to me is the same, i have to get to know its soul.
